Students from Nottingham Trent University visited the Jesuit Church oratories in Valletta on April 9th while on a field trip to Malta. Hosted by the Restoration and Preservation Department (RPD), the visit offered detailed insights into their pivotal role in restoring and conserving Malta’s historic buildings. Discussions ranged from surveying techniques to scanning methods and the utilisation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) by the RPD. Attendees also had the opportunity for a brief on-site visit, witnessing firsthand the interventions at the Jesuit Church oratories.
